Welcome to Pirate Therapy and the Quest: for the Mystic Bootye!

Living in a Culture of Pirates

"What we from our point of view call colonization, missions to the heathen, spread of civilization, etc., has another face–-the face of a bird of prey seeking with cruel intentness for distant quarry–-a face worthy of a race of pirates and highwaymen. All the eagles and other predatory creatures that adorn our coats of arms seem to me apt psychological representatives of our true nature." (--C.G. Jung)

Most people are from a long line of Treasure seekers. This may be one of the reasons they are so attracted to the image of the Pirate

Our lives are intimately connected with pirates.  We are deeply immersed in a culture of Pirates

With Pirate Therapy you will learn how your daily thinking is influenced by the same forces that shape the psychology of pirates
Discover how understanding Pirate psychology can have a healing effect in your life
For those on the Quest, and/or those who desire to know more about it - go on to . .
A Pirate wants . . .A Pirate wants one thing more than anything else . . . The Treasure!
In his lifelong study of the individual and the meaning of life, the eminent psychologist, Dr. Carl Jung (1875-1961), came to the conclusion that our "true nature" is that of a "race of pirates."  As a psychologist, I was interested in knowing more about our true nature and pirate psychology. However, I found that there were NO entries in the catalogs of psychological literature listed under the categories of Pirate archetype or Pirate psychology. Then, I decided that I would make this the topic of my research studies.
In order to understand Pirate psychology, you must first learn to see where the Pirate exists.
In Pirate: Quest for the Mystic Bootye, you will discover more about your relationship with pirates, where, and how the world of piracy may be seen.
